Last year a few of my closest confidants (6200 to be precise) officially broke a Guinness World Record in the First Annual Greatest International Scavenger Hunt the World Has Ever Seen (Gishwhes).
The Team that scavenged the hardest was flown to Rome (a village in Italy) where they feasted on spaghetti with me by candlelight. This October we will shatter both our own record and the world’s sense of normalcy with the Second First Annual Gishwhes.
Now, since you’re greedy, you’re probably asking yourself, “Self, this is all well-and-good and I love scavenging and hunting, but what can this year’s leading Team expect? What could possibly top a spaghetti dinner?”
Well, I’ll tell you: The Team with the most points will be flown to Scotland where they will stay with me and few other ne’er-do-wells in a Haunted Castle. There will be ghost chasing and there will be kilts. Need I say more?
Yes? Well then, let’s get to it:
Scavenger Hunt? Huh? - Yes. It’s a blast. Everyone’s doing it. We globally scavenge for incredibly artistic and wondrous items and then “capture” them with our cameras.
Can I join as an Individual? - Yes. We will group you with a top-knotch global team. Many of our participants did this last year.
Can I form a Team? - Yes. Your teammates can live anywhere! Team size will be fifteen this year to increase your item scavenging abilities - so start finding teammates.
If you don’t reach fifteen, that’s okay. Since I’m particularly fond of you, I’ll make sure that your team is rounded out with some truly talented people. Team names must be one word.
We have a Q&A that may also be helpful. Or not.
How do I join/register? Wait for the countdown clock on Gishwhes to hit zero.
Hope to see you in Scotland,
